How Does it Work?
We have Senior, Teen, Junior, Primary and Tiny Tot Showgirl Competitions.

Primary Showgirl Primary age 6-7 years
Junior Showgirl Junior girls aged 8-12 years.

The Senior Competition is held every two years usually prior to Show Day.

All the other Showgirl Competitions are held every year during Show week.

Step one is to print out an entry form, complete and submit by the due date.

Primary, Junior & Teen Showgirl Competition interviews & judging will occur during the week before the Show.
Once applications have been submitted, interviews will be organised and entrants will receive a date, time and venue for their interview.

Judging will take place from 4pm one weekday afternoon in the week leading up to the Show in the Showground Dining Room.

Primary, Junior & Teen Showgirls are announced Friday night Show week at 6pm in the Seated Entertainment Area.

Tiny Tot applicants need to be at the Showground Dining Room at 9am on Show day, with a parent/guardian for a meet and greet with the Judge. They will be asked two (2) questions: What is your name? and What is your favourite thing?

Tiny Tot Showgirl is announced on Show Day at the Show Opening at 10am.

Showgirl Resources - A Great Read for Every Showgirl!

We have been networking with other Show Society's to learn about how they support their Showgirls with their journey. Through this networking we have come across some great resources. Rather than reinventing what is already a great read we have asked the author's of these booklets and presentations to allow us to share them on our page for everyone to read and learn from their experiences. We are in the process of updating our own Showgirl Showbook too. It will be uploaded in the new future.

Thank you to Isabel Hawken for kindly sharing her resources with us.
