How Does it Work?
We have Tiny Tot, Junior and Teen sections.
During Show week interviews are held for Junior and Teen after 4pm. The presentations are held at the Showground seated entertainment area, 6pm on the Friday prior to Show day.
Tiny Tot interviews are held Show day morning, 9am in the Showground Dining Room.

Categories for 2026 Gulgong Show
Tiny Tots aged 2-5 years
Junior aged 6-12 years.
Teen aged 13-17 years.
There is no cost to enter the competition!
Remember you will need to pay gate entry or become a member to enter the Showground. If you are 15 and under and your parent is a member, you are eligible to enter the Show for free. You just need to accompany them when arriving at the Show on Show day.
Applications open once the entry form is released on our website in January. Release will be announced on our facebook page and through local media. Entries close 7pm 13th of February 2026.
Entrants will need to submit their application form via email. Once applications have closed, interviews will be organised and entrants will receive a date, time and venue for their interview.
Don’t forget to invite your family and friends to come along to support you!
All applicants are invited to the Show Day opening to be introduced to the community. If unable to attend the Show’s opening we will have an opportunity later in the day to introduce you. Please advise the co-ordinators of availability to attend the presentation before leaving from interview.
