As we approach our 130th Gulgong Show, it is wonderful to see the hard work behind the scenes coming to fruition as we approach Show Day. Entries are coming in, volunteers are busy helping get things organised, local businesses getting into the spirit with decorating their shop fronts and rides arriving ready for a ton of fun. HENRY LAWSON FLOAT & PARADE ~ JUNE 2017
The Gulgong Show Society Inc float won first prize for the best float in the Henry Lawson Parade for 2017. The Show Society also used this community event as an opportunity to present to the community the Senior Showgirl Entrants for 2017 Jacintha Leatherby and Morgan Rae. OBERON FOR THE SHOWGIRL FINALS ~ MARCH 2017
Our beautiful Lisa Byfield along with her partner, family and great friend Angela went to the zone finals in Oberon during March for Senior Showgirl. Whilst Lisa didn't get through to the next level, Gulgong is so proud of her contribution to our Show and our local community. We wish Lisa the best for the future as the search begins for our next Senior Showgirl!

The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl Zone 5 Final Ball was held near Morrisset at the Workers Club at Wangi Wangi Saturday 6 February 2016. Congratulations to our Gulgong 2016-2017 Showgirl, Lisa Byfield, who represented the Show Society and our town. Lisa did exceptionally well last night. Unfortunately she didn't get selected to go to the finals in Sydney. We wish her all the best in her first year as our Showgirl!
